Our Policies


General Information 

Prices and menu content are subject to change without notice. However, if your event is already booked with a signed contract we will certainly guarantee the quoted price within the same calendar year. 

HST applies. 

The Mixing Bowl is the only caterer to be on – site for the required event. No other food shall be served unless pre-approved by the caterer. 

If you have guests with dietary restrictions or food allergies we should be notified in advance. This is to ensure we can properly accommodate your guests. 

We require 72 business hours notice for simple drop off orders. Larger events require 2-4 weeks notice in advance. However, we will always do our best to accommodate any last minute orders. 


Payments

All functions will require a deposit of 30% which is due upon signing a contract. If the deposit is not received within the timeframe your confirmation cannot be guaranteed. We will charge 2.5% interest on any accounts not paid in full or within the specified time frame.

We accept Visa, Mastercard & cheques.


Cancellation Policy

We reserve the right to charge full price for food already prepared or in production when you cancel an event less than 48 hours. 

Services and Rentals

Servers & bartenders are available at a minimum of 4 hours at a rate of $24 per hour.

Onsite Chefs and sous chefs are also available.

All of our servers and bartenders are smart serve certified.

We can provide rentals for your event, such as dishes, linens, tables, tents you name it, and we will work with our suppliers to make it happen.

A 15% catering fee is added to all serviced events. Gratuities are additional and left at the customer’s discretion. 

Charges will be added for cleanup provided to areas not used by the caterer (example, bar area not provided by our catering service) 


Delivery and Pick Up Charges

We cater all across the Ottawa & Surrounding area

Kanata and surrounding area is $25. Downtown area is $30. Setup & clean up fee is additional. If you are outside of the downtown area contact us for rates. To pick up chafing dishes or china and baskets there will be an additional pickup charge of $25. if setup or cleanup is required there is an additional fee. If you do require an addtional hand keep in mind we have servers that can help you with your event.  We will deliver to outlying areas for an additional fee per km based on location.
